Your Mission
As a Technical Sales Specialist at Sleep Cycle, your primary focus will be to proactively identify, engage, and develop partnerships with companies that can benefit from our advanced sleep technology through SDK integrations. You will also spearhead data monetization initiatives, driving these conversations from initial contact through negotiation and contracting, all the way to handing off to our tech team for seamless implementation and delivery. Experience from the app business in combination with the medtech, wearables and health sectors will be a significant plus.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Proactively identify and approach potential partners in the health, wellness, and technology sectors who can leverage Sleep Cycle’s SDK technology.
Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring a steady flow of qualified partnership opportunities.
Lead data monetization initiatives by identifying opportunities to leverage Sleep Cycle’s data assets for commercial use.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including negotiation, contracting, and partnership onboarding.
Collaborate closely with the technical team to ensure smooth handover and implementation of SDK integrations.
Stay up-to-date with trends in the sleep, health, and wellness sectors to identify new partnership opportunities.
Represent Sleep Cycle at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote our technology and build relationships.
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience in technical sales, business development, or partnership management
Experience from working with apps
Strong understanding of SDKs, APIs, and technology integration processes.
Experience with data monetization strategies and the ability to identify new revenue streams.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Familiarity with CRM tools and sales pipeline management.
Extra points are earned if you have:
Background in the medtech, wearable, health, or wellness industries.
Experience working with sleep technology or bioacoustic data.
Familiarity with healthcare data compliance and privacy regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
Technical knowledge of software development processes to better liaise with engineering teams.
