We are looking for a product designer who can create and realize ideas and features for the continued success of Sleep Cycle. You are a hardworking designer with a genuine passion for UX and visual design. You are comfortable with everything in the product design spectrum with anything from user research, copywriting, wire-framing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing. However, you are especially good at creating product design and experiences that are easy to use and captivates the user.
It’s important that you are able to communicate your ideas in polished mockups as well as wireframes. You have genuine interest in usability, best practices and accessibility. You are keen to learn new things and are able to put yourself in other people’s shoes in order to make for example hand-offs to developers easier and more efficient. You think feedback is just a step in the process of getting something done and are no stranger to changing your work if it’s warranted. You’re also self-propelled and can see where your expertise can be helpful.
We believe that you have a couple of years of experience as a Product or UX Designer at a product company or as a consultant. We’re not especially concerned with titles but more in results. In your role you will be working with anything from large concepts one day to the next day be working on something smaller like making screenshots and assets for the app store.
You're good at:
- Communication verbally as well as in writing.
- Driving and idea from concept phase to finished product.
- Set design requirements based on information from internal teams and user research.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members.
- Facilitating workshops and design sprints.
- Taking a user centric approach, while still evaluating your impact with data.
- The whole Adobe Creative Cloud Suite but in particular, XD, Photoshop and Illustrator.
- 3+ years track record of proven successful product launches.
Awesome if you have:
- Experience working with Figma or similar tools.
- Worked with app development
- Experience from working with digital consumer products
